This article will show one of the avenues users can take to add or edit employees on the Block POS ID list.
Overview
Admins can Block POS IDs from affecting payroll. When users post the Store's Payroll, they may see alerts and become blocked. Admins can quickly take action on the Store Payroll page to remove blockers or proactively add the POS IDs to a Blocked List on the NEW Stores Maintenance page.
When proactively blocking POS ID numbers , which would prevent the Store Payroll from posting, and that ID already has a shift ‘punched’ for that number before store payroll is posted, users will need to clear and re-run labor data on the End of Day page for each day in the payroll cycle.
If a user mistakenly Blocks a POS ID from within the Store Payroll page, they can navigate to the NEW Stores Maintenance page and remove that POS ID from the Blocked List. Afterward, the user will need to clear and re-run labor for each day that ID was used to clock in/out.
Once a POS ID is added, users can remove or view Blocked POS IDs.
