How do I manage Inventory Guide Locations?

This article shows users with Maintenance Access permissions how to create inventory guide locations.

Overview

Users will create inventory guide locations that will appear on all store’s inventory guides. Common locations are:

  • Walk-in Cooler

  • Freezer

  • Dry Storage

  • Kitchen or Cook Line

  • Prep Area

  • Chemical

Making an edit or deleting a location appears on each store’s inventory guide. Locations cannot be deleted if at least one ingredient or one item is assigned to the location. Ingredients or items are added to locations when managers sort their inventory guide from sheet to shelf for V6 and V5.
