Where do I view the KDS Ranking Reports?

This article reviews where to find the KDS Ranking report and what data it displays.

Overview

The KDS Ranking Report looks at various ticket times when integrated with a Kitchen Display System (KDS). This report can be exported as a CSV file.

Decision Logic KDS (Kitchen Display System) reporting requires that an integration be established. We currently support the following systems through a daily UDT task.

  • Micros QSR

  • Aloha KDS

  • Delphi Drive Thru Timing

If you have one of the KDS products listed and want to establish an integration, please contact your Decision Logic Account Manager and submit the request through the Implementations and Integrations Portal.

This report displays the following metrics:

  • Report Type

    • Average Ticket Time

    • Average Window Time

  • Display By

    • Day Part

    • Destination

 

Run Report

Begin by navigating to:

Reports > KDS > KDS Ranking Reports

 

  1. Select the Company, Region, Area, or Store.

  2. Click View X Store.

  3. Select the Date or Date Range.

    1. Enforce Weeks will be toggled on by default, locking the fiscal week dates. Un-toggling Enforce Weeks lets users select a single date or a date range outside of the defined fiscal week start.

    2. The green dot under a date represent a fiscal week start and will default to the current week.

    3. Period Start is the beginning of that store’s period. Clients with multiple calendars may not see the Period Start icon on the date selector.

    4. The Year, Period, and Week will appear in the top-left of the Date Selector once a date is selected.

  4. Select the Report Type.

  5. Select the Display By type.

  6. Select the Destination type.

  7. Click Apply.

Report Type

  • Average Ticket Time
    This is calculated as the time from when a ticket first appears on a KDS display to the last "bump" for an order. This includes Window Time.

  • Average Window Time
    This is calculated as the time from when a ticket is last bumped on a non-expo display to the time it is last bumped on an expo display.

 

Display By

  • Day Part
    Locations will be listed with Day Part columns that are established on the KDS Maintenance page and shown as minutes and seconds as a result of the selected Report Type metric.
    Be sure to select all or just the desired Destination. These Destinations are configured in the KDS.

  • Destination
    Locations will be listed with Destination columns that are configured in the KDS and shown as minutes and seconds as a result of the selected Report Type metric.
    Be sure to select all or just the desired Day Part.
