Where do I view the Shift Card on the Digital Manager mobile app?

This article shows managers how to view and interact with the Shift Card feature on Decision Logic’s Digital Manager mobile application.

Overview

A Shift Card allows managers to view a posted schedule for a selected date for an individual store. Users can quickly view the posted schedule in the Digital Manager mobile app. The feature includes:

  • The store.

  • The date selected.

  • Day parts.

  • Scheduled employees.

  • The time employees are scheduled.

  • The hours view preference.

  • The schedule view preference.

  • The role breakdown by job code.

  • Call the employee from the mobile app.

Watch this quick video on how to navigate the Shift Card on the Digital Manager mobile application. The Shift Card is only visible in a single-store view. Above-store level managers will need to navigate to the single-store view.

 

View Team Shift Card

 

  1. Log in to the Digital Manager mobile app.

     

    1. Above-store managers must sign on or navigate to a single-store view.

  2. Tap the People icon. This takes you to the Shift Card.

Below is the default landing page.

 

 

Users will see the following:

 

View Shift or Call Individual Employee

Managers can dive-deeper in the Shift Card to view the time(s) each employee is scheduled on the selected date. Additionally, managers can call employees directly from Digital Manager’s Shift Card feature.

  1. Log in to the Digital Manager mobile app.

     

    1. Above-store managers must sign on or navigate to a single-store view.

  2. Tap the People icon. This takes you to the Shift Card.

  3. Tap on a Team Member within the My Team or Role Breakdown section.

    1. Tap a Day Part to view other day parts.

       

  4. View their scheduled date, time, and job code.

  5. Tap the Phone Icon to populate the employee’s phone number.

  6. Tap the Phone Number to call the employee. The phone number that appears comes from the phone number listed inside the employee’s profile within the Employee Roster.

    1. If a phone number is not present in the employee’s profile, then the call feature will not be available.

    2. Tap Cancel to return to the previous screen.

 

Change View Preference

Users can change how they want the hours format and the team member schedule displayed on the Shift Card. Preferences are saved unless the user logins in with different credentials, changes to a new device, or updates their client ID.

 

  1. Log in to the Digital Manager mobile app.

     

    1. Above-store managers must sign on or navigate to a single-store view.

  2. Tap the People icon. This takes you to the Shift Card.

  3. Tap the Filter icon.

     

  4. Tap the preferred Hours Format or Team Member Schedule.

     

  5. Tap Back to return to the Shift Card.

     

 

Managers who update a posted schedule will need to close and reopen the mobile app to view the updated schedule.
