What push notifications are available for the Digital Manager mobile app?

This article provides information on the types of push notifications users could receive using the Digital Manager mobile app.

Overview

Push notifications are pop up messages that appear on a person’s mobile device and are sent from a mobile app even if the mobile app is not open.  The available notifications help support managers by making operational decisions known while on the go.

Managers must be logged into the mobile app and enable push notifications from their device’s settings in order to receive them.  Users can log into multiple devices and receive the same notifications across those devices.

Tapping on a push notification will take single-store users to the Menu screen in the Digital Manager app.

 

Android users with v13 or higher and all iOS users will receive a Permissions Acknowledgement message upon opening the Employee Central app.

Below are the different types of notifications available and examples.

  • When an electronic order has been successfully sent to a distributor.

Employee Requests

  • When an employee submits a request from the Employee Central app.

  • Availability Change Request

  • Time Off Request

  • Shift Change Request (drop shift)

Unmapped Invoice Items

  • Checks every 24 hours.

Enter or Change rights for PPC Invoices.

Missing Line Check

  • Line checks not completed after 30 minutes of the scheduled time.

View, Enter or Change rights for Line Check Entry.

Order Confirmation Exceptions

  • Order from Sysco (only) has an exception.

Upcoming Line Checks

  • When a line check is scheduled to be entered in the next 30 minutes (default).

Orders Scheduled to be Posted Today

  • When an order needs to be placed (posted).

Enter or Change rights for Enter Order on Ordering Home.

Additions to Electronic Bid Files

  • When new bid file items are added by electronic distributors.

Change rights for Bid Files.

Missing Daily Sales & Labor Data

  • Sent 1 day after sales and/or labor data are missing.

Change rights for End of Day.
