How do I add, edit or delete Documents in Decision Logic?

This article shows users how to create folders and then upload, edit, or delete a document in Decision Logic.

Overview

Decision Logic Documents feature gives users the ability to create folders, add, remove, archive, organize, and download important Company-Wide documents straight to the Decision Logic platform. It is a shared drive space that's only visible to users who have access to Decision Logic’s Document page.

The latest versions will always see the most recent documents and receive the information they need.

 

Documents location is a great place to store your:

  • Best Practices

  • Company training manuals

  • Bulletins to Franchisees 

  • Accident forms

  • Frequently called numbers lists

 

Technical Requirements

  • max file size: 256MB

  • file types: doc, docx, txt, rtf, xls, xlsx, pdf, ppt, pptx, ipg, ipeg, ipe, png, mov, mpg, mpeg

 

Create Folders

Begin by navigating to:
Operations > Documents > Documents

 

  1. Click + Add Folder.

  2. Enter a Folder Name and Save.

Folders will appear in alphabetical order on the left.

Open, Rename, and Delete Folders

Begin by navigating to:
Operations > Documents > Documents.

 

  1. Select a Folder to Open.

  2. Click Edit to Rename the folder.

    1. Update the Folder Name and Save.

  3. Click Delete Folder to delete the folder and it’s contents.

 

Add Documents

Begin by navigating to:
Operations > Documents > Documents

 

Users have multiple ways to upload a file:

  1. Browse your computer, select a file and add/open it or Drag and Drop a file.

  2. Update or keep the File Name.

  3. Click Save.

After at least one file is added through the methods above, users can upload additional files by clicking + Add File and repeat steps 1-3.

 

 

Move, Download, Edit and Delete Documents

Users can move an existing file into another folder using the drag and drop method. Additionally, you can edit the file’s name, download it to your device, or delete it.

Begin by navigating to:
Operations > Documents > Documents

 

  1. Click on the Folder to open it.

  2. Drag and Drop a File from one Folder to another.

  3. Click the Floppy Disk Icon to Download the file.

  4. Click the Pencil Icon to Edit the file’s name and Save.

  5. Click the Trash Can icon to Delete the file.
