Line Check Maintenance

Line Check Maintenance allows users to set up the Line Check application.  Line Check can be organized sheet-to-shelf and allows store specific setup.

To begin setting up Line Check, navigate to Maintenance > Line Check > Line Check Maintenance.

The initial page displays:

  • All schedules that are created
  • The times the line check is scheduled
  • How many items are assigned to each line check 
  • Total stores assigned to each line check.

To edit the stores or check times for a schedule, click the Edit Schedule button.

Adding a New Line Check

  • Select Add Schedule in the top right-hand corner.
  • Enter the Line Check details.
    • Enter the Line Check Name.
    • Assign times by selecting the check times drop-down and placing check marks in the appropriate time slots.
    • Assign stores by selecting the Stores drop-down and placing check marks by the appropriate stores.
  • Select Save

Adding Items to a Line Check

  • Add Items to the line check by selecting Edit Items and selecting .
  • Use the drop down to select the item
  • Next, select the Check Type
  • Select Save


Manage Items

Items can be added by using an existing ingredient or creating a new line check item, for example, freezer temp.

After adding a new check type to an item, the check type needs to be added to the schedule.

  • If an ingredient has check type temp for 3 schedules and you add a yes/no check type for the ingredient, it needs to be added to the schedules that you want the yes/no to be checked. By design, the system will not add this to all of the schedules by default.

Add from an existing Ingredient

  • Select Add Item.
  • Use the menu to select an item.
  • Add details such as:
    • Product Shelf Life
    • Notes
  • Select a check type (Temp (Cold), Count, Weight, Temp (Hot), or Yes/No)
  • Add the acceptable ranges to each check type 
  • Click the Requires Comment checkbox if the item requires a comment.
  • To add another check type select the +
  • To remove a check type, select the x


Add from a Custom Item

  • Select Add Item
  • Select the Use Custom Item button
  • Name the Custom Item
  • Add details such as:
    • Product Shelf Life
    • Notes
  • Select a Check Type as in the steps for adding from an existing ingredient.
  • Add the Acceptable ranges to each check type.
  • Click the Requires Comment checkbox if the item requires a comment.
  • To add another check type select the +
  • To remove a check type, select the x


Allow N/A Entry

  • Check the Allow N/A box to let stores skip over an item.


Check Types

  • Temp (Cold) - Cold Temperature Check
  • Temp (Hot) - Hot Temperature Check
  • Count - the Specified amount of product
  • Weight - Proper weight of the product
  • Yes/No - Quality Check or confirmation
  • Photo - Upload a photo from your computer or take a photo with your device's camera
