KDS Maintenance
The page is designed to establish configurations and define metrics for KDS Reporting pages. It is broken out into 6 tabs, each with its own function. All tabs must be complete for KDS Reports to populate.
Decision Logic KDS (Kitchen Display System) reporting requires that an integration be established. We currently support the following systems through a daily UDT task.
Micros QSR
Aloha KDS
If you have one of the KDS products listed and are interested in establishing an integration, please contact your Decision Logic Account Manager and submit the request through the Implementations and Integrations Portal.

KDS Set
Generally, you will have only one KDS Set that covers the entire company. Having multiple KDS Sets is dependent on how the KDS is configured in your stores. Once a KDS Set is selected on the first tab, it follows how the Assign Displays and Assign Store tabs are configured.
As an example, if you have both brick-and-mortar concepts as well as fast-casual concepts, you might need to create separate KDS Sets for each. KDS Set 1 might have a different KDS Number assignment or naming convention for KDS Display "Drive Thru" (100) vs. KDS Set 2 which might have KDS Display "Cashier" with KDS Number 100.
Displays
Each KDS Screen needs to be given a name in this section.
Assign Displays
Each KDS Screen applicable to the KDS Set needs to have the KDS Number that is configured in the actual KDS assigned for the Stores that will be assigned in the KDS Set.
Assign Store
Here you will assign the Stores that are applicable to the KDS Set and Display Number configurations.
Ticket Times
Minimum and Maximum Ticket Times are buckets that the times fall into. These are applied to all KDS Sets. Each time-range that you want to see in reporting needs a label assigned to it.
These should be configured in order of ideality with your most desired ticket time-range listed first.
Dayparts
While Dayparts for all non-KDS reporting in Decision Logic are configured upon site set-up, this tab in the KDS Maintenance page allows you to assign Dayparts for ticket time reporting groups that are more specific to Kitchen operations compared to the business operations overall.
These should be configured in order of business day start to business day end.
