How do employees download, create an account & login to the Employee Central mobile app?

This article shows employees how to accept an invitation to join the Employee Central mobile application and create an account to log in.

Overview

Employees can perform various functions through Decision Logic’s Employee Central mobile application. First, managers must invite employees to join the Employee Central mobile app through the Employee Roster on Decision Logic’s web platform. After a manager sends the invitation link, employees must download the mobile application and follow the link sent via email or text message to create their account. Employees cannot log into the mobile app until an account is created. Additionally, managers must have the employee’s Mobile Access status as ‘Active.’

 

Employees will need to:

  • Accept the invitation sent by a manager.

  • Create an account.

  • Download the Employee Central mobile app.

  • Sign in to the Employee Central Mobile app.

 

Once logged into the app, employees can:

  • View their schedule and the full schedule of all teammates for the day selected.

  • Send messages to teammates.

  • Pick up house shift or shift from teammates with the same job code.

  • Request changes to their availability.

  • Request time off.

  • View the activity history, including past broadcast messages.

 

Mobile Device Requirements

  • Android 5.0 or higher

  • iOS 10.0 or higher

Accept Invitation, Create Account & Download

Managers can send an invitation to join the Employee Central mobile application to an employee’s email address or cell phone number. Additionally, employees can search for the mobile app from either Google Play or Apple Store, download, and open ‘Employee Central.’ The employee will need an invitation sent from the manager to create their account.

Email Address Invitation

The employee will search their email for info@decisionlogic.co to locate the invitation, including if an employee needs to reset their password after an account is created. The invitation may have been sent to a junk or spam folder, depending on your email settings. 

 

Gmail email addresses typically send the invitation to the Spam folder.

 

  • For Hotmail users, add info@decisionlogic.co to the safe senders' list. 

  • For work or school email addresses, you may want to contact their IT and ask them to allow the sender's domain in their email system.

 

  1. After locating the invitation email, click or tap the Create Account link.

     

  2. Create a Username, such as your email address, and a Password.

  3. Click or tap Create Account.

     

  4. Download the app based on your mobile device type and follow the standard instructions. The minimum operating system versions are Android 4.4 and iOS 9.0.

     

  5. Log in to the Employee Central mobile app with the login credentials you have created.

 

 

Cell Phone Invitation

An invitation will be texted to the employee with a link to begin the account creation process. The

  1. Tap the link on your mobile device. The text message will come from +1 (855) 699-3535.

     

  2. Create a Username, such as your email address, and a Password.

  3. Tap Create Account.

     

  4. Download the app based on your mobile device type and follow the standard instructions. The minimum operating system versions are Android 4.4 and iOS 9.0.

     

  5. Log in to the Employee Central mobile app with the credentials you have created.
