When viewing the Cost of Goods Sold Report by Store at an above-store level, the Total Sales values are broken down per store.

  • Accurately display store-level Total Sales when expanding a category.

  • Correctly calculate % Sales based on the corrected totals.

 

This change was made so that above-store leaders could run the COGS report and when expanding a category, it will display each store's total sales value

The fix ensures that:

  • Each store's sales are reflected in the report.

  • The associated % of sales values is accurate.

This improves the integrity of above-store reporting, particularly for users managing multiple locations.

Toast discounts on checks containing only gift cards are now reporting in Decision Logic. Discounts are now captured and reported in DL even when no food or beverage items are present on the check.

This change was made because previously, order-level discounts on gift card-only checks weren’t reported in Decision Logic. Since there were no menu items on the check, we were unable to distribute the discount, so it was 'mapignored'.

We have improved how the Last Year Period-to-Date (LY PTD) values are calculated in the Budget Report.

Previously, LY columns were based on a fixed 364-day offset. Going forward, they align with the same fiscal period and week from the prior year.

This change ensures year-over-year comparisons are consistent, even when periods vary in length across years.

Cook Chart PDF Generation for Prep Sheets

Added functionality allowing users to generate a "Cook Chart" PDF from the Prep Sheets page to assist team members in prepping items at regular time intervals.

Cook Chart PDF Output:

  • Displays item name and recipe measures by time interval

  • One table per location, with automatic page breaks and header repeat

This was implemented based on client feedback to know how much to prep every interval throughout the day without having to create multiple prep sheets.

This helps provide clear, time-based prepped quantities for the entire day to help reduce over-prepping and food waste.

Catch Weight flag is disabled:

  • Catch Weight Actual labeled (CW) on the main table will display – instead of 0

We have introduced new fields in Bid File Maintenance to help users differentiate between electronic updates from the distributor and manual updates made by users.

  • Added Last Manual Update Date and Last Manually Updated By fields to the Bid File details sidesheet.

  • The existing Last Updated field has been renamed to DC Sync Date, representing the last electronic update from the distributor.

  • Manual edits to bid file will only update the Last Manual Update Date and Last Manually Updated By fields.

  • Electronic updates from the distributor will only update DC Sync Date.

This update provides clarity on when and by whom a bid file item was last manually modified, helping users better track changes and review bid file updates.

Three separate configuration options have been added to allow more flexibility and automation in managing bid file items. These options include automatic configuration of new bid file items based on existing distributor group items, the ability to configure unknown bid files when receiving orders, and an Under Configured filter for the Bid File Maintenance page.

  1. Automatic configuration of new bid file items.

  2. Configure Unknown Bid Files when receiving orders.

  3. Under Configured filter for Bid File Maintenance page.

  • Configurations are copied from another Distributor Group item if:

    • Item Number, Broken Case Flag, Catch Weight Flag, and Force Flag match.

    • The item is not archived.

  • If no matching Distributor Group item exists, no configuration changes are made.

  • If multiple matching Distributor Group items exist with differing configurations, no configurations are copied.

  • You can receive orders with unknown bid file items, and they will automatically be created and configured during the receiving process.

These three separate configurations enhance the management of bid file items by providing automated configuration options, improving the receiving process for unknown items, and giving admins a tool to identify and resolve under configured items quickly. Each option can be enabled based on client preferences, offering flexibility in how bid file items are handled.

POS Employee ID Block List Management.

Added a POS Block List tab on the New Stores Maintenance page.

Store admins can view the list of blocked POS Employee IDs for their store allowing them to do the following:

  • Add POS Employee IDs to the block list.
