Hot Item Inventory

Hot Item Inventory can now be configured to support multiple daily count times and tracks when inventory was taken against orders received, improving variance accuracy and cost accuracy. Reporting has also been consolidated into the new Hot Item Variance report, which calculates variance by time slot and centralizes updates within DL Updates.

Please see your account manager if you would like to look into adjusting your Hot Item Inventory configuration.

Employee Transaction Permissions

A new “Pay View” permission has been added to control visibility of employee pay rates. Users without this permission will see masked or hidden pay values on the Employee Roster and Employee Details, though users with Pay Change access can still view pay rates. The permission defaults to ON for existing users.

The “Hide Add Employee Button” permission has been renamed to “Show Add Employee Button,” with inverted logic so the button only appears when enabled. Existing permission assignments were automatically updated to maintain the current behavior.

Refreshed the Inventory Home page and the New Inventory entry process with an updated look and feel. The Inventory Home page uses the updated Date Selector to provide consistency across pages, and the inventory starting point has been renamed to New Inventory (previously Enter Inventory).

When starting a new inventory, users are guided through a new workflow that prompts them to choose Scheduled or Hot Inventory before proceeding to date selection. This flow also includes a yellow banner that highlights actionable items, such as orders that need to be received, helping users identify and resolve conflicts before continuing.

The Inventory Home page and New Inventory flow have been updated to allow us to expand and build on the existing Hot Item Inventory process. This update improves clarity, consistency, and usability while maintaining existing inventory behavior.
