v6.83 (12/02/2025)

All

A Zero-Sales Hide/Show button has been added to all Menu Mix reporting.

Some users need to confirm whether new or existing menu items truly had zero sales or if they may be missing due to configuration issues. The new button gives operators visibility into all menu items on their menu set. Making it easier to validate setup, troubleshoot mapping issues, and understand menu performance more clearly.

v6.83 (12/02/2025)

All

Updated configuration option allowing the Budget Report to use a different invoice date type.

Please see your account manager if you would like to look into adjusting your budget report configuration.

Different clients use different invoice date fields for financial reporting, such as Invoice Date or Post Date, which can result in mismatched data when the system forces a single option. This update allows Budget Reports to follow the client’s preferred date type, ensuring the report aligns with how they post and analyze invoices.

v6.83 (12/02/2025)

All

Big fix to allow accurate plate cost drill-down calculations where there are complex nested prepped items on a single menu item.

Some plate cost drill-downs were displaying incorrect values when recipes contained complex, multi-level ingredient structures or reused the same sub-recipes in different branches of the menu item. This led to situations where ingredient costs did not match the expected totals, or the same sub-ingredient appeared multiple times. The fix ensures that drill-down costs correctly follow each recipe’s structure and that no duplicate or misaligned ingredient costs appear.

v6.83 (12/02/2025)

All

The Decision Logic Digital Manager application was updated to improve the stability of the local save functionality.

We found that Android devices were failing local save more frequently when placing orders, causing repeated warnings and creating a risk of losing order data when connectivity changed. This update improves the reliability of the local storage process so orders can safely save progress between screens or during network interruptions.

v6.83 (12/02/2025)

All

Improved overall report performance and reliability by optimizing how large reports run and extending system timeouts so long queries can finish without interruption.

This change was made to help large and complex reports run more smoothly without slowing down or timing out. Clients were experiencing delays and failures when running broad date-range or high-volume reports, so we optimized how the system processes these requests and extended system timeouts.

v6.83 (12/02/2025)

All

Bug fix ensuring PPC Invoices Exports include scans when a Vendor ID is selected.

Users reported that PPC Export Scans returned no results whenever a specific Vendor ID was selected, even though scans existed. PPC exports now correctly return scan results whether the user selects All Vendors or a specific Vendor ID, and images are included as expected.

v6.83 (12/02/2025)

All

Bug fix ensuring accurate hour display on Daylight Saving Time days.

The time selector always showed a standard 24-hour day, even on Daylight Saving Time transition dates. This caused an extra hour to appear in March and a missing hour in November. The updated logic now correctly adjusts based on the real number of hours in that calendar day.

v6.83 (12/02/2025)

All

OData Employee Custom Fields bug fix, ensuring full custom-field values are returned.

Employee custom field values were being cut off at 30 characters due to a database conversion that defaulted to a shorter length. This was updated so the full 50-character value is respected.

v6.82 (11/11/2025)

All

Added Average Usage and Coverage columns to the PARs page to help users compare weekly usage against their entered PAR levels.

  • Average Usage: shows the average actual usage over the last three full weeks, allowing users to compare their PARs to real consumption data.

  • Coverage: sums the total of all PAR entries and updates dynamically as values are changed.

The update provides real-time visibility into ordering accuracy, reduces over/under ordering, and improves decision-making by showing the average usage.

v6.82 (11/11/2025)

All

Updated the Minimum Wage Adjustment calculations on the Store Payroll and Payroll Report pages.

  • Minimum Wage Adjustment is calculated per labor week, not payroll week.

  • Only tipped jobs are included in the calculation.

  • Non-tipped jobs will only show an adjustment if their pay rate is misconfigured below minimum wage.

These updates make payroll reporting more meaningful for business analysis and decision-making.

v6.82 (11/11/2025)

All

By request, clients can have their site configured to allow users to enter a Post Date when creating an invoice on the Invoice Entry page.

Previously, users had to create and then edit an invoice to backdate it, which created unnecessary steps and potential errors. This enhancement streamlines the workflow by allowing the Post Date to be entered during creation.

https://decisionlogic.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CKB/pages/8978447

v6.82 (11/11/2025)

All

The Manual Order Receive process was updated to improve how invoice numbers are validated when creating or receiving orders.

Previously, duplicate invoice numbers were only checked after posting, forcing users to restart the process if a duplicate existed. This change streamlines invoice creation, reduces user frustration, and ensures cleaner invoice data.

https://decisionlogic.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CKB/pages/8978452

v6.82 (11/11/2025)

All

The Decision Logic Digital Manager application was updated to address issues with local save failures during ordering. Some users experienced orders disappearing when navigating between screens or losing Wi-Fi.

These updates improve reliability when saving orders locally and reduce confusion or data loss during the ordering process.

v6.82 (11/11/2025)

All

The KDS Data column header on the Operations Engagement page is renamed to Speed of Service Data to better reflect its purpose.

While most clients use KDS for kitchen tracking, others use the same data source to measure drive-thru times, making “Speed of Service Data” a more accurate and universal label.

End of Day now includes a Finalize Day option that allows authorized users to mark a business day as complete. When a day is finalized, it is automatically locked and displays the date, time, and user who performed the action. A confirmation prompt appears before finalization, and future dates cannot be finalized.

To give operators and above-store users clear visibility into when a store has completed all daily tasks (sales and labor validation, deposits, tips, comments, etc.). This also prevents post-finalization edits and ensures data accuracy for reporting.

v6.81 (10/28/2025)

All

A new Operations Engagement Report allows viewing of data import status when Sales, Labor, Speed of Service, and Finalize Day processes are imported or re-run. The system records the completion status of these data imports in real time and displays it on the Operations Engagement metrics page.

To improve visibility into data integration status and ensure the Operation Engagement Report reflects the most current information. This helps clients confirm that daily imports and finalization processes have been successfully completed.

https://decisionlogic.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CKB/pages/4770299908

v6.81 (10/28/2025)

All

Budget Entry and Budget Report now support Budget by %.

Users can enter and report on budgets using percentages rather than being limited to dollar amounts.

  • On the Budget Entry page, users may choose to enter a $ amount or a % value. Only one entry type can be active at a time.

  • When a field is configured for a budget %, the Period Budget Report automatically calculates the corresponding budget dollars using the field’s configured divisor (e.g., Total Sales × Budget %).

  • Values entered as % now save and display correctly across all weeks or periods selected, matching what is stored in the database.

To give users more flexibility when building and reviewing budgets. Teams can now budget using percentages tied to specific sales or section totals, improving consistency and reducing manual calculation.

All

The ODATA Sales Summary endpoint now provides both Taxes and ReductionTaxes records. This ensures that total tax amounts returned through ODATA match those reported elsewhere in Decision Logic reports (e.g., DSR).

  • Added a new record type, ReductionTaxes, to capture tax reductions (such as voids and comps).

  • Combined these values with existing gross taxes to accurately reflect net tax totals.

To align ODATA results with the same net tax calculations shown in Decision Logic reporting. This improves accuracy for clients using the ODATA API for integrations or financial validation, ensuring consistency across tools.

v6.79 (09/30/2025)

All

Enhancement to the employee onboarding and Employee Roster management to allow SSN entry to be required without enforcing SSN uniqueness.

Reach out to your account manager if you are interested in this configuration.

Stores needed the ability to require SSNs for all employees to support payroll processes, while still allowing duplicate SSNs for cases where employees have the same job across locations but a different hourly pay rate. This will help provide a smoother onboarding and compliance with their requirements.

v6.79 (09/30/2025)

All

Bug fix for Decision logic Digital Manager and the Employee Central mobile apps to ensure password fields display correctly in Android dark mode.
