How do I pair a supported Bluetooth thermometer to the Digital Manager mobile app?

This article shows managers how to pair a Bluetooth thermometer used for line checks on the Digital Manager mobile application and the devices our mobile app supports.  

Supported Bluetooth Thermometers

Decision Logic supports the following Bluetooth thermometers:

Devices can be purchased from ThermoWorks or by calling 1-800-393-6434.  


Pair Bluetooth Thermometer to Digital Manager

The Bluetooth thermometer can only be connected to one mobile device at a time. Decision Logic recommends that other Bluetooth devices are turned off when attempting to pair the thermometer to your mobile device.

Please ensure that the Bluetooth thermometer is turned on before pairing the Bluetooth thermometer to the Digital Manager mobile app.

Once the thermometer is turned on, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Digital Manager mobile app.

  2. Tap Line Check.

  3. Select a Date and Store if access to multiple stores.

  4. Tap Start next to the applicable line check.

  5. Turn on the Bluetooth thermometer and tap the thermometer icon.

  6. Tap OK to allow Bluetooth connection.

  7. Tap the Bluetooth temperature device populated on your mobile device’s screen.

    1. Once connected, the cell phone image changes to green.

  8. Tap Back.

    1. You will see “Connected to [device name]” at the top of your line check.


You can now use the Bluetooth thermometer for line check items that require a temperature entry. Check out the link at the bottom of this page to learn how to enter a line check, including utilizing your Bluetooth thermometer.


Each time you turn off or close the Bluetooth thermometer, users will need to reconnect the device to the Digital Manager mobile app.
